Exporting at-risk customers to Klaviyo
Before you export
Make sure Klaviyo is connected in Settings → Integrations. If it isn't, you'll be prompted to connect it when you click export.
Bulk export — all customers in a band
1
Open Protect and select a band
Click the "Critical", "At-Risk", or "Watch" tab depending on which band you want to export.
2
Click "Export all [Band]"
This button is in the top-right of the customer list. It exports all customers currently visible (based on your active filters).
3
Select your Klaviyo list
Choose an existing Klaviyo list or create a new one. We recommend a dedicated list per band: "LiftSignals — Churn Critical", "LiftSignals — At Risk", etc.
4
Confirm the export
LiftSignals shows you the number of profiles being exported. Click "Export" to confirm. You'll receive a notification when Klaviyo confirms the import.
Set up a recurring export instead: Rather than exporting manually every day, create a scheduled export from Audiences that automatically pushes your at-risk audience to Klaviyo every day at 6am. This way the list stays current without manual effort.
What data is sent to Klaviyo?
By default, LiftSignals sends: email address, first name, last name, and the customer's current churn score as a custom property. The churn score appears in Klaviyo as liftsignals_churn_score, which you can use to personalise your email copy.
Single-customer export
To export a single customer, hover over their row and click the Klaviyo icon in the actions column. This is useful when you want to add a specific customer to a flow immediately, such as after a manual customer service interaction.
