Building audiences with the filter builder
Opening the Audience builder
Go to Audiences in the main navigation. Click + New audience or select a template to start with pre-filled filters.
Adding filters
Each filter row has three parts:
- Field — What to filter on (e.g., churn score, CLV tier, last order date)
- Operator — How to compare (e.g., is greater than, equals, is between)
- Value — What value to compare against
Available filter fields
| Category | Fields |
|---|---|
| Churn | Churn score, churn band, score change (7d) |
| CLV | Predicted CLV, CLV tier, CLV trend direction |
| RFM | RFM segment, recency score (1–5), frequency score, monetary score |
| Win-back | Win-back window status, days in window |
| Behaviour | Last order date, order count, average order value, days since order |
| Repurchase | Repurchase score, propensity to buy score |
| Customer | Email subscribed, SMS opted in, acquisition source, country |
AND vs. OR logic
Filter rows within the same group are connected by AND logic (all conditions must be true). You can add multiple filter groups connected by OR logic (any group can match). Use the "Add group" button to create OR conditions.
Example: (Churn score ≥ 81) OR (Win-back window = open AND Days since order ≥ 45) — this catches both Critical-band customers and lapsed customers in win-back windows.
Live count
As you add filters, the estimated audience count updates automatically (with a 500ms debounce). This count is approximate — the exact number is confirmed at export time.
Saving an audience
Click Save audience, give it a name, and it appears in your saved audiences list. Saved audiences are dynamic — they re-evaluate on every sync, so the members change as scores change.
