Creating a new workspace

How to create a workspace using the wizard, including template selection and team setup.

Starting the wizard

Go to Workspaces (accessible from the workspace hub, or click "+ New workspace" in the switcher). The creation wizard has 4 steps.

Step 1 — Name and store type

Give the workspace a name (usually the store or client name) and an icon (emoji or colour). Select the store type: Shopify, WooCommerce, CSV, or API.

Step 2 — Connect store

Depends on the store type selected:

  • Shopify — Enter your store URL (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com) and click Connect. OAuth flow starts.
  • WooCommerce — Enter your site URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret.
  • CSV — Upload your customer data file immediately.
  • API — LiftSignals provides a webhook URL and authentication key for your developers to send data programmatically.

Step 3 — Invite team members (optional)

Add email addresses for teammates who should have access to this workspace. You can skip this and invite later from Settings → Team.

Step 4 — Done

The workspace is created and the initial sync begins. You'll see the sync progress on the new workspace's Today screen.

Using workspace templates

Workspace templates pre-configure model thresholds, alert settings, and default audiences for common store types. Available templates: Shopify DTC Brand, WooCommerce Subscription Box, Agency Client (Fashion), Beauty & Skincare, Home & Furniture. See Workspace templates for details.
